As we step into a new year, I am thrilled to share some extraordinary news that fills our hearts with immense gratitude and joy. Thanks to your unwavering support, generosity, and belief in our mission, we have not only met our fundraising goals – we have surpassed them, profoundly.
A Remarkable Achievement
Our initial goal was to raise $7,500, which, with our benefactor’s matching offer, would bring us to a total of $15,000. This amount was earmarked for building the crucial southern part of the second-floor wall at Casa de Los Angeles – a wall that doubles as a vital retaining structure against erosion. But what happened next was truly astounding.
Not only did we meet our stretch goal of $15,000, but together, we raised an incredible $30,000! And, in an extraordinary act of generosity, our amazing benefactor doubled this amount. This brings our total funds raised in November and December to a staggering $60,000!
